About Marisa
Marisa has spent the past 11 years in communications via journalism, public speaking and being an author. She has also taught for the New York public school system in Rochester on publishing and journalism topics.
Her public speaking experience includes television and radio interviews, and numerous speaking engagements for LupusChick, as a journalist, and as a board member for the Lupus Foundation of America, Florida Chapter.

Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Annual Scientist Conference – Cape Cod, October 2017. Marisa and her husband spoke to over 200 of the Company’s research scientists who are currently working on potential medications for lupus patients.
